Reservations are required for the Chef’s Tasting Menu service on Friday and Saturday nights. While we strongly recommend reservations for the Thursday and Sunday A la Carte service, we will accept walk-ins space permitting.

Reservations open on the first of each month for the following month. As an example, on October 1, we’ll open all reservations for dates during the month of November. You can make reservations for parties of up to 6 people. If you’d like to reserve for 7 or more people, please email reservations@samstablenj.com, or call 973.200.2092 x3.

Sam’s Table offers two types of menus for two distinct experiences. All menus feature the freshest vegetables and proteins brought to us by our farmer, forager and fishermen partners.

• Chef’s Tasting Menu Friday and Saturday, seatings at 5:30 and 8:00 pm, $92/pp + tax / gratuity. The meal typically lasts approximately two hours, perfect for lingering with friends and perhaps making new friends.

• A la Carte Menu Thursday and Sunday, 5-10 pm, selection of small and large plates plus choice desserts, designed for sharing or enjoying solo at the pace of your choice. 

There will be no substitutions during the tasting menus, but we will do our best with notice to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please give us 48 hours’ notice at minimum and include the request when reserving in Tock.

Yes, Sam’s Table is a BYOB. Our wine partner, Amanti Vino, will deliver the wines that you order to your table at the beginning of service. You can also feel free to bring your own bottles.

We recommend parking at the South Fullerton Parking Plaza, accessed on South Fullerton Ave in Montclair. When you exit the parking lot, walk past the Wellmont Theater, and cross Bloomfield Ave. at the crosswalk. You’ll see Sam’s Table just to your right at 377 Bloomfield Ave.
